ANTICHRIST
The white horse rider

Special report by FRED SHMIDT
For centuries, Bible scholars have waited with great anticipation for
signs in the Middle-East to indicate that the arrival of the world’s final
dictator is at hand. That time is almost here.
The Bible is indeed the infallible Word of God, spoken to His prophets and
recorded on paper for our understanding and eternal benefit. In its snowy-white
pages, God shows how sinful men can be cleansed from their sins and saved from
God’s soon-coming judgments. The most accurate translation from the original
Hebrew and Greek into the English language is the Authorized King James Version.
The Bible prophesies that in the last-days, an especially evil man will rise to
great power and will rule the world with unprecedented cruelty. That man is
called by several names and aliases in the scriptures: “The Assyrian” (Isaiah
10:20-32; 14:25; 30:18-33; 31:4-32:20; Micah 5:3-15); “The Wicked” (Isaiah
11:4); “The King of Babylon” (Isaiah 14:4); “The Spoiler” (Isaiah 16:4); “The
Extortioner” (Isaiah 16:4); “Gog, the Chief Prince of Meshech and Tubal”
(Ezekiel 38:2-3); “The Little Horn” (Daniel 7:8, 24; 8:9, 23); “The King of
Fierce Countenance” (Daniel 8:23); “The Prince That Shall Come” (Daniel
9:26-27); “The King of The North” (Daniel 11:5-45); “The Syrian” (Daniel
11:35-45); “The Grecian” (Zechariah 9:13); “The Man of Sin” (2 Thessalonians
2:1-12); “The Son of Perdition” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12); “That Wicked” (2
Thessalonians 2:8-12); “The White Horse Rider” (Revelation 6:1-2); “The Beast”
(Daniel 7:11; Revelation 13:1-10) The most renown, however, is the name—
“ANTICHRIST.” Y
Examine Isaiah 10:20-34; 14:24-27; 30:31; 31:8-9; Micah 5:3-15. In
these scriptures are revealed certain important facts about the point of origin
of the future final dictator, and the spiritual condition of the Jewish people
at the time.
The coming Antichrist is prophesied to be a descendant of the Assyrians, many of
whom now live in Syria. After the fall of the ancient Assyrian Empire in 612
B.C. (some claim the date of 603 B.C.), the Assyrians were pushed into what is
now the Northwestern portion of Iraq by a coalition of armies. In A.D. 1935, the
League of Nations resettled many Assyrians into Northern Syria, where they
remain to this day. Antichrist is called “the Assyrian” because his origin will
be within the ancient Assyrian territories (verse 5). Daniel 11:35-45 calls him
“the Syrian.” He is called “the Roman Prince that shall come” because of his
partnership and influence with Rome (Dan. 9:26-27), and “the Grecian” in Zech.
9:13. All these territories encompassed the Syrian portion ruled by the Assyrian
Empire, then Babylon, Greece, Syria, and Rome respectively. The Assyrians
controlled much of the region in the days of Micah and Isaiah’s prophecy. Since
scriptures place Antichrist from Syria, we can safely say that one of today’s
Assyrians will likely be the soon-to-come Syrian Antichrist, Satan’s man of the
hour.
Why Israel Is Persecuted By the Pagan World
Today, the majority of Israel’s Jews live secular lives rather than religiously.
(Some statisticians in Israel put the figure as high as 80% of Israel’s
population). This corresponds with the statement made in Micah 5:3, “Therefore
will he give them up (because of their sins and neglect of God), until the time
that she which travaileth hath brought forth; then the remnant of his brethren
shall return unto the children of Israel.” (“She which travaileth” refers to the
:Sun-clothed Woman” of Revelation 12). It is clear that those in Jewery who
choose to live in sin will be classified as lost and will be cut-off from the
eternal benefits promised to the faithful, believing Jews. This is the same way
God deals with sinners among the Gentile ranks. God does not bend the rules of
righteousness simply because the person has had a righteous track-record in his
past. He always separates His children who turn back to sin from the ranks of
those who remain godly. This is an important lesson that all should learn. God
is totally righteous and will not tolerate sin. Y

“And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow
; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer”
(Revelation 6:2).
1) The rider is a singular conqueror. All scripture references to Antichrist are
given in the absolute singular.
2) This dictator tries to imitate Messiah Yeshua by claiming to be Him
(Revelation 6:2; Matthew 24:4-5; John 5:43; Dan. 9:27; 11:37).
3) The bow in his hand reveals his intent to conquer nations militarily. The
absence of arrows shows his lack of power to do so on his own. He gets his power
to conquer later from the Dragon (Satan). This will be accomplished when Satan
gives 3 of the 10 kingdoms to him (Daniel 7:7-8, 24). In contrast, the true
Messiah is always symbolized with a sword, never with a bow (Revelation 1:16;
19:15, 21).
4) The scriptures clearly state that it is Satan who gives the Antichrist a
crown (Daniel 8:24; 11:38-39; 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12; Revelation 13:2, 4).
5) Antichrist is the only person prophesied in scripture as conquering and to
conquer at the beginning of Daniel’s 70th Week (Daniel 7:7-8, 20-21, 23-24;
8:23-25; 9:27; 11:36-45; Revelation 6:1).
It will take Antichrist the first 3 1/2 years of the 70th Week (the last 7 years
of this present age), to gain power over the future 10 kingdom nations (which
will form inside the territories once controlled by the Roman Empire).
Antichrist will first overthrow 3 of these nations (Daniel 7:23-24), and by the
middle of the 70th Week (3 1/2 years into the Tribulation), all of the 10 kings
will submit to him. He will reign over the 10 kingdoms and many other nations
for remaining 3 1/2 years of the 70th Week.
Messiah Yeshua will personally destroy Antichrist at the end of the 70th Week at
the renown Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 13:1-5; 17:8-17; 19:11-21).
6) This white horse rider will cause all of the wars, famines, pestilences,
death and hell upon earth in 3 of the Seal Judgments (Revelation 6:3-8).
7) The prophesies in Daniel 7:23-24; 8:23-25; 9:27; 11:36-45 provide clear proof
that the rise of the world’s final dictator to public activity takes place on
day-one, scene-one of Daniel’s 70th Week. Laying the above Scriptures along side
of Revelation 6:1-2; 13:1-18; 14:9-11; 16:13-16; 17:1-17; 19:19-20 provides a
complete picture of the revelation of this final, evil ruler.
Who is running the Show?
I am confident that this future evil ruler is already alive, grown, trained and
prepared to step into his role. The reason he has not appeared publicly and
begun his evil campaign to conquer the nations of the middle-eastern theatre, is
simply this: Antichrist, and his master, Satan are not in control of events. The
Lord God of Israel, the King of the universe alone dictates the timing, and
progression of events, and the limitations upon the movements of men. The
Scriptures make it clear that Satan is powerless to do anything without God’s
permission.
God gives permission for Satan to attack men only to provide opportunity for men
to repent from evil and to turn to the Lord in repentance, and to further His
great plan of redemption (see Job 1:6; 2:1; etc.). Further proof of this fact is
found in Rev. 6:1-2:
“And I saw when the Lamb (Messiah Yeshua) opened one of the seals, and I heard
as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four zoa (cherabims) saying, Come.”
(note: the words “and see” are not found in earlier manuscripts).
Without the words “and see,” the words from the angel cease to be an apparent
invitation you the reader to be a spectator to the next scene.
The word “Come” is recognized as a clear command issued to Antichrist, the White
Horse Rider, permitting him to begin his efforts to resist the power of the Lamb
who is moving full-force to retake the Earth from Lucifer during the 70th Week
(the Tribulation).
This clearly shows again that Satan’s power and freedom to operate are limited
to, and dependent upon the permission and commands of Messiah Yeshua.
How revealing and reassuring this illumination is to those who don’t understand
the flow of events unfolding around them. God is in total control of all things
at all times! He is providing opportunity for men to see the futility of
following wicked men, and providing opportunity for wicked men to turn away from
their sins and turn to Christ for redemption.
May you discover from the holy Scriptures that Yeshua is indeed our promised
Messiah. Y
