BACKSLIDING AMERICA
Will the U.S. lose Super-power status?

Have you been watching
America’s track-record since this great nation was founded? It is a classic
lesson that has very similar parallels in the history of Israel.
The earliest settlers to these shores were Jews and Dutch Christians fleeing the
persecution of Rome’s Inquisition. Among them was my maternal family. Once here,
God used the settlers to introduce Biblical values to the native Americans, who
were deeply involved in cultic mysticism, animism, human sacrifices and
cannibalism.
Curiously, these were very same cultic practices followed by the pagan Canaanite
tribes who dwelt in what is today Israel.
God told Abraham that He was going to take the land away from the Canaanites and
give all of it to His Chosen people, the sons of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (see
Lev. 18:24-30; 20:22-24; etc.).
God is the Creator (Gen. 1; 2; Jn. 1:1-3), and therefore is the owner of this
fallen planet. He has the perfect right to evict any unfit tenants who occupy
His land as a probationary blessing, and He has the undeniable right to install
new tenants of His choice in their place. This He has performed both in Israel
and in America.
The Prosperity of
Israel and the United States
Sin was also present among the Jews as well among the new Americans in the days
of the establishment of these nations by the hand of God. The vast majority,
however, were God-fearing people who obeyed the moral commands of the Word of
God. Thus, the blessing of the Lord rested upon all. Under this covering, God
prospered the establishment and the growth of both of these unique nations.
Why Did God evict the Wicked
And replace them with the Righteous?
Men are placed where they are by God’s divine providence on a probationary
basis. Sadly, today’s sin-loving society has forgotten, and even rejected the
true and living God. Worldly pleasures and gross acts of immorality are
practiced daily by the masses of this world. Most have lost any desire to know
and serve God, preferring the pleasures of sin and worldly entertainment. They
have blatantly broken God’s moral law so often that their conscience is now
seared as with a hot iron. They have destroyed the sense of right and wrong. The
question is: How long will God endure the plague of ever spiraling wickedness
that has gripped mankind everywhere? God specifically warns:
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love
the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world,
the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not
of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lusts
thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever” (1 Jn. 2:15-17).
God is Totally Righteous
Man was made to love and serve his great Creator. True peace in the heart as
well as in a nation is only found in recognizing and observing this important
truth.
Man was created and placed here to turn the world into a sinless society by our
obedience to Him, setting an example before others. God is often patient because
of His mercy and love for mankind, but, He is also absolutely just, and will
deal with all sin with terminal justice at some point.
Sin Separated Man from God
In the Beginning—the same is still
True Today.
When Adam and Eve sinned, they broke the rules of God’s probationary arrangement
with them. They were evicted from the garden paradise and thrust into the wild
world outside the garden, Satan’s world, where we all have lived since then.
When Israel sinned as a nation, God’s heavy hand of judgment chastised them by
allowing wicked kingdoms to overthrow them, and kidnap them until they truly
repented and returned to serving God. Then, God restored them and returned His
blessings to them. God, in turn, judged the wicked nations for the evil they did
against His people. Many cases proving this truth are found throughout the
Tenach (Old Testament). Sinners separate themselves from God by their willful
sins.
“The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezek. 18:4, 20). This speaks of
separation from God, who does not see that person as alive in His sight while
they are in sin.
America is guilty of many sins
And is deserving of God’s Judgment
During the Vietnam era of the mid-1960s, liberal politicians (mostly Democrats)
initiated laws that banned prayer and Bibles in public places. The judgment of
God came on America as communists, with backing from the Democratic Party
propagandized the public against the war. We lost our first war.
Abortion was later introduced, and we lost more conflicts, and felt the horror
of crime escalating out of control and through the roof. List the embarrassing
losses of Panama, Mogadishu, Beirut, and being forced to vacate our bases in the
Philippines because of communist propaganda, as well as other political and
military retreats, and one can see a pattern of loss because of our national
sins.
President Bill Clinton boldly promised that his first act of his second term
would be to give Sodomites equal status with the God-fearing population who
refuse to commit one of the most heinous of sins—homosexuality. This he did,
opening the door wide for response from our holy and angry Creator. God made
clear His absolute prohibition of this evil Listen to God:
“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination” (Lev.
18:22). By the way, an “abomination” is an act that requires the death penalty.
God Himself will meet that judgment out at the Great White Throne Judgment,
where all sinners will be receive the sentence of eternal damnation and be cast
into the Lake of Fire. There, all sinners will serve their eternal sentences in
indescribable agony.
Doubling the guilt, Clinton legalized the “partial birth” amendment. This
legalized using drugs to force the baby to turn in the mother’s womb so that it
could be pulled out feet first, until only the head remained inside the mother.
At this point, a shot stops the birthing process, and the baby is dissected
alive. Parts are sold to medical companies to make collagen, a chemical used in
reducing age-wrinkles. Products using parts of aborted babies bring $ billions
for the medical industry.
Clinton refused to acknowledge his sinful acts with Monica Lewinsky as sex or
sin. The result was a massive wave of popularity of the practice of oral sex
both homosexually and hetrasexually among American teens that continues to this
day.
Unacknowledged and Unrepented
Sin Brings Judgment from God
“And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;” (Eph. 2:1).
The Greek word paraptoma is used here for dead, which means “fallen aside when
one should have remained upright, any deviation from God’s rule or moral equity,
as well as any flagrant offence or trespass (Rom. 11:11-12). The Greek work for
trespass is harmartia, meaning a failing to hit the mark (always in a moral
sense), a sin of thought, word, or deed (Jn. 1:29).
Ephesians 2:1 speaks to those who turned away from their sins. Many fail to do
this and will be condemned with all who have sin in their lives at the time of
death or of the Rapture of the saints. These are classed as “dead in trespasses
and sins.”
God’s Law of Spiritual Return
When a person sins, God provides a means by which he can be restored: 1.
Acknowledgement of sin, 2. Confession of sin, Repentance from sin, 3. Avoidance
of sin.
“your iniquities have separated between you and me” (Isa. 59:2).
If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the
sins of the whole world” (1 Jn. 2:1).
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with
another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1 Jn.
1:7).
Americans are becoming bolder in their practice of sinful pleasures
To avoid hardening your heart from God, and the coming judgments of God, we need
to fall before the Lord in gut-wrenching tears of sorrow over our sins, and pray
for God’s forgiveness for breaking His moral law. Only when we call upon Him and
ask Jesus the Messiah to cleanse away our sins with His shed blood can we
experience real peace.
Pray! We can turn America around! May you begin with the members of your family
to return to true Biblical values today. Y
FUTURE FUEL
Dr. Tarq Abu-Hamed, and Israeli scientist at the University of
Minnesota, with Professor Jacob Karni and Michael Epstein, head of the Solar
Facility at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, have developed a new
environmentally friendly method producing hydrogen fuel inexpensively,
efficiently and safely.
The scientists use boron, a lightweight semi-metallic element, to react with
water to produce hydrogen that can be burnt in an internal combustion engine or
fed to a fuel cell to generate electricity. Y
ERASING HISTORY
Biblical Archaeological Report Sept.-Oct., 2006: Muslim cemeteries are
encroaching along the eastern wall of Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, making the area
off-limits archaeological excavation.
The Waqf (Muslim Religious Trust) has been carrying out unsupervised
archaeological excavation and construction on and under the Temple Mount,
ignoring all rules. Their intentional destruction of the Jewish presence on the
Temple Mount through history has caused irreparable damage to the archaeological
treasures buried under the holy site.
The Temple Mount is where the First and Second Temples stood: called the Temple
of Solomon and the Temple of Herod. Y
STATISTICS
At the beginning of this new Jewish calendar year, Israel’s population
is 6.99 million, including 5.31 million Jews, of whom 3.7 million are native
Israelis; 1.38 million Arabs; and 299,000 belonging to other groups.
The population growth rate decreased while life expectancy continues to rise. Y
VATICAN OPENS BOOKS
The Vatican has opened its 1922-39 archives on Cardinal Eugenio
Pacelli, who, in 1939 became Pope Pius XII and is accused of having done too
little during World War II to save millions of European Jews from the holocaust.
The archives are believed to include notes of what Pacelli said in strategy
sessions about Jewish issues, his private views on the 1933 Concordat with Nazi
Germany, and on Hitler’s 1938 annexation of Austria. Y
BELGRADE BEATING
Two Israelis were severely beaten by a pair of Serbian neo-Nazi
skinheads at a Belgrade concert in what was described as anti-Semite.
Witnesses said the attackers, since identified, were wearing Nazi T-shirts and
singing Nazi songs.
Similar acts of brutality and murder are happening with greater frequency
against Jews in Europe and Russian provinces. Y
